Snow on The Cheviots

Hello

I thought I’d better just check in and let you know I’m still here!  We’ve done almost no walking since our return from Arran, which is shocking I know.  Anyway – plans are afoot to go for the #1000 miles challenge again next year, so I’ve decided some training is needed!

We started this afternoon with a short 2 mile stroll up to Hume Castle and back.  Couldn’t get out till 3 o’clock and the sun was setting by the time we got home but the light across the fields and on the castle, and the snow on The Cheviots in the distance was beautiful.

Snow on The Cheviots – can’t wait to get out walking in these hills.

Beautiful in The Borders isn’t it?

Anyway – keep your eyes open for more soon as I get myself into walking mode again…..hopefully!  And let me know if you’re planning any walking challenges – I’ll give you a mention here!

Thanks for reading!

Julie
