We went back to Predannack today and walked along the cliffs to Kynance Cove, returning across Lower Predannack Downs.  Last month when we did this walk we were enveloped in thick fog.  Today, we enjoyed bright sunshine for most of the time and could see for miles out to sea and across the heathland. Staying around Porthleven today, I wanted to see how the bluebell woods in Penrose were coming on so we did a quick walk through the estate before heading back to the Festival.DSCF1098

Lovely day today…..lovely walk as well.  Another one from the iwalkCornwall website (www.iwalkCornwall.co.uk ). It was tough but had all you could want ….stone circles, rock climbing, pebble hopping (!), birds, flowers, reptiles, sea views, coastal paths, woodland, and farmland with fenced in cows. You do see the strangest sights sometimes.  We saw some today – through the fog that shrouded the Carvannel Downs near Portreath.
